They've won divisional championships.
They've won conference championships.

Should've said "without ever winning an NFL championship" or "league championship".

It's odd remembering my childhood.

The Cowboys-Vikings Hail Mary is my earliest memory of pro sports.

You had the Cowboys, Vikings, Rams. The three major players in the NFC at that time.

It's been over 40 years since the Vikings have been to the Super Bowl.

My 10, 11 year old self is flabbergasted by that fact.

As a Vikings fan of roughly the same age, I am more heartbroken than flabbergasted.

1998 was our year and since that loss to Atlanta i've not felt the same about this team, obviously I would still like to see them win, but I haven't really cared since. I used to watch every single game... Not anymore.

IMO the Vikings have arguably the greatest group of players in the history of the game, not just those 70's teams but when you add people like Randy Moss, Cris Carter, Adrian Peterson, John Randle, Chris Doleman, Randall McDaniel, Jared Allen, Joey Browner. No team has as many top players in league history.

Oh and fuck you Gigi!!
