Missing people found

I think we need a place to post on missing people. I am not sure of how many here know about the books Missing 411 about folks who disappeared and sometimes show up later with no memories about their missing time. Others disappeared never to be found again and many of these folks go missing from our National Parks in large clusters of many missing persons cases.

Today I am writing about folks that are being recovered from vehicles underwater by a group called Adventure with Purpose. These folks use boats depth finders and scuba diving and usually work directly with the family of the missing. This is my latest must watch on you tube channel. What drew me in was the sonar image of a young man who drowned while trying to escape his Honda Pilot. The image is almost shocking to me especially since I used to fish with this technology on my boat. Here is a link to this episode and a screen grab.

I, along with some friends, once found a dead body hanging from a tree in the woods when I was in 4th grade.

Turned out to be a farmer who had been missing for 3 weeks.

I also enjoy those Missing 411 books.

I was in a traffic jam one evening right about dusk and it was then I could see a traffic cop suddenly start clearing the traffic in front to make way for emergency vehicles. There were a couple cops putting down flares to create traffic in both lanes on one side of median so they could close the lanes the accident and I along with several other vehicles were behind.

So anyway, we were directed to slowly drive ahead towards the actual crash impact area....just trying to get us out the way really...so we all had to pass through the crash site.

As I was following along as told I glanced down to what appeared to be something almost glowing. It was a victim of the crash...well, half of them anyway. the other half was still in the mangled wreckage of their vehicle. I guess because all the blood, fluids, ...fucking life really...escaped from half the corpse, it was extremely pale and in the available light at dusk it looked to be glowing.

True story Bro!

A bunch of my friends and I (all teenagers at the time) went to a popular lake and were playing tackle football in 4-5’ of water. We would swim underwater with the ball or swim underwater to try to tackle. We kept feeling each other swimming under & around each other until one point when all of us were above water and my buddy reached down and pull a pale girl with blue lips around our age up and above water. I swam for shore, and got a lifeguard. Ambulance came and took her but she didn’t make it.
