Saw this on the news last night. Apparently they did multiple thorough investigations and then some woman just happens along his skeleton?
 
Such sad news. It's amazing how canines couldn't even find him
 
In 4th grade my friends and I found a dead body hanging from a tree in the woods behind our sub. Turned out to be a missing farmer.

It was actually some 6th graders who saw it first, thought it was a dummy (because it was all bloated and they could only see the body’s arms because it was behind a tree). They did the whole “do you guys want to see a dead body?” thinking they’d scare us.

I’ll never forget the oldest kid crossing the creek, seeing the rotted face full of flies and saying “guys, it’s not fake.”

That hasn't been determined yet from this article. But mentioning the belt around the remains' neck it's most likely going to be suicide.
