Moments that should be more legendary than they are

RG3 annoys the shit out of me lol, he's so corny at times it crosses into cringe territory
He's entertaining. I would much prefer him over some stiff old school guy, or Beth Mowins.

Yeah, I noticed that as well.

I'm telling you though, when the Spartans tried the onside kick, and you guys brought out a guy with a club on his hand, I laughed at RG so hard.

He said something like,

"Look at this guy with the club on his hand out here catching the onside kick. IT'S THE HANDS TEAM and he's out here with a club."

"If I'm the kicker, I'm kicking it straight to Mr. Club and his one hand."

*Kicker kicks the ball, and it bounces out of bounds*

"That kicker is shaking his head after that one, he tried to kick it at the club, but kicked it outta the club".

I was a few beers in, but I was laughing so hard.
He wouldn't shut up. He's the absolute worst.

He should be paired with Beth Mowins and kept off of prime time network games at the very least. I haven't heard such a cringy obnoxious commentator. And that's a pretty high bar, 98% of them are terrible.

Ohio State had a player in the early 2000s named Bam Childress who Keith Jackson would always refer to as "Barn" Childress.

He'd also frequently call Maurice Clarett, Maurice "Clarinet".

Poor guy was starting to lose his marbles around that time.

lol i remember that. early on in that '02 season during a game i had to make it a point to read clarett's name off the back of his jersey multiple times, because ol' Keith said "clarinet" so often i thought maybe i was reading it wrong :dhd:

Okay the dream commentator pair: Beth Mowins and Lee Corso. ESPN, get this done now.
