bridal shower this weekend in CT. Gotta pack my golf clubs

Because he’s been eerily wrong about stuff like this along the way.

I just keep chalking it up to "he's already pussy whipped as fuck". [...or "dick whipped" if he's actually marrying a masculine dude...]
 
Weekend was nice. Did a few things for Tank. Took him up to a train museum on Saturday, then went to my parents' house yesterday because he specifically asked for pepperoni pizza at their house.

Also went to Asbury Park to listen to the Bouncing Souls play their summer show. Good times. Kids got to run around on the playground for a few hours, we got to sit on the beach and listen to tunes. The Vandals absolutely sounded like a band that barely plays any gigs anymore. Souls were good, though.

I just need to show up at the end and load the car up with the gifts when it's done.

apparently that's what the groom does.

I am going to go golfing with the future BIL while it's going on, which is cool because I have never golfed in CT


When Should Your Partner Arrive at the Shower?​

If you've decided you'd like your fiance to be at the event, there's no right or wrong answer to this question. You can have them show up at the end to say hello to guests, they can attend and play a few games, they can bring you flowers mid-party, or they can stay for the entire thing. Traditionally, the bride's partner comes for the end of the party, but that doesn't mean it's what you have to do.
 
my AC unit took a crap on me sometime over the weekend.

called the HVAC folks and they weren't going to be able to get out until Tuesday...so to the internet I went.

settled on it being the capacitor. Watched a video, discharged it so I didn't get shocked, and replaced. Running like a dream again.

morning all, or I guess afternoon

Soccer game was fun, Mrs Pnk mostly had a good time. I usually park at distillery/brewery a bit away and walk rest, she didnt like the walk, although it was further than I thought. But parking near stadium sucks and getting out is a nightmare, so this avoids that. I'll have to figure out something different if we go again, she did like it
 
Weird weekend. Went to a great outdoor play os School of Rock. Was actually very impressed at the entire thing.
Worked a little Saturday, and then watched a fight where I really wanted Jake Paul to get knocked the fuck out, and he didn't.
Had a funeral yesterday, and then had probably the best Thai food I have ever had. Didn't get anything done that I needed to, like change the swamp cooler pads, cut the grass, and clean the pool filters, so I took the day off work, to work all day at home.
