I went back a couple of pages and didn't see a movie I heard about recently. I don't have any teasers or trailers, so instead just starting a thread that people can dump questions about upcoming shows or movies in case we want to start a full thread on it.

First up I heard that next year is a Masters of the Universe reboot! Glad people my age have the money to fund movies about toys I played with as a kid

I think the original animated series was actually made after the toys too.

same with Transformers.

Mattel had a process...make toys then sell them by building a show around them...

Heard there is a Top Gun 3 in the making but every so called trailer on the interwebz looks fake. Surely the studio is thinking on capitalizing on the success of Maverick.

I could see a spin off or prequel. Maybe they can get the kids from Iron Eagle to do it :dhd:

Went back 5 pages and didn't see anything on "Dept Q" on Netflix.

I binged 4 or 5 episodes last night, kind of a twisted timeline and has extreme peaks and valleys but so far I'm intrigued. Have a few episodes left that might crater the entire thing, but so far so good. Does have a feeling like it is about 3 hours of material that they are trying to stretch into 8, wonder if it was initially written as a movie.

Synopsis: Grumpy detective who doesn't get along with anyone has his barriers broken down slowly to become more of a team player and solve cold cases. Just two cases are active though, and I won't spoil what I know so far about either of them. But it follows two different stories that are converging, and they like to jump around in the timeline so you have to pay attention to details to see if this is current day or a flashback.

it's on our list to watch that.

we are currently watching Mobland, which is really good. I love me some Guy Ritchie and Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan...it's good
