Gonna shuffle around some show but this will affect NHL games, Premier League Soccer, NASCAR, Indycar, and some other sporting events. Some are getting moved to the USA network. My guess is they'll move some over to their streaming service, Peacock, as well

True, at least for a little while, they still have Al Michaels. His false teeth are older than I am though at this point.

Say what you will about ESPN, they declined into their present state of suckdom. NBCSN was run on the cheap from Day 1.
 
NHL will go back to Fox and we're getting that highlighted puck

They show a lot of what racing and NHL I like to watch. I better be able to get the others. Wish there was a streaming service that was affordable for just sports and kids channels. We need ala carte tv.

I’m reading where the network was profitable but the speculation is they are trying to unwind cable and put as much as they can on the Peacock to grow it. Paramount (CBS All Access new name) is the same.
 
They’re saying the NASCAR races will be moved to USA network.

I just think it’s funny that Tony Stewart can start up a new short track racing league with a roster of washed up NASCAR, Indy and F1 drivers and get a deal where all races will be shown on CBS, but most NASCAR races are either on FS1 or NBCSN

They are. They're thinking (likely correct) is streaming is the future (and present in many cases) so they are investing as much as possible in it right now. So even though NBCSN is currently profitable, they're gonna take the short term hit to grow Peacock.

They just did a huge deal today as well. The entire WWE streaming service moved over to Peacock. That's a big get and will definitely get more eyeballs on their streaming service
