Don't get me wrong. Glad to have a tourney(so it appears) but uhhhhhhh........why?!?!?!

Reduce the tournament by 2 days?!?! And to do that have games on Mondays and Tuesdays?!? Especially the 2nd round on a Monday. Messes with peoples work. DUMB.
 
Maybe they're pushing it back a few days to allow conferences to make up games later and still be able to play their tourneys?? Although if you're doing that just push it all back a week

Or get rid of the stupid ass play in games lol.

Having 2nd round games on a Monday is truly awful planning. And elite 8 being monday/tuesday is pretty bad too even tho you can probably start them later if need be.
 
Championship week is going to happen too. I don't think it's a good idea, but nobody listens to me...

Yea, 64 would have been perfect this year.

Obviously weekend is not the same as pre-COVID weekend, but ... Fri to Mon odd.

Just means my 4 day weekend will be on different days lol
 
I can understand why they pushed it back. Get the small conference teams there before Selection Sunday, get them in the bubble so to speak. Have all other teams arrive Monday, test, quarantine if need be. Honestly getting rid of the play in games would have been ideal this year, then that gives you an extra day.

At least I don't have to take off on Thursday/Friday this year. Lol.
