Brazil star Neymar has torn ACL, set for surgery

Brazilian star Neymar suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee during his country's World Cup qualifying loss to Uruguay on Tuesday, Brazil and his Saudi club Al Hilal announced Wednesday.

Good news is that terrorist MBS still has to pay him that bloated salary. Best of both worlds. Getting paid by Saudi Arabia and now can drink in Brazil.
 
Terrible news for Neymar, possibly a career ender. Weird question: given that National teams are required to pay the club salary of players injured on International duty, is Brazil now on the hook for Ney’s insane salary?

National career ender maybe. Brazil sucked this week in World Cup qualifying tieing Venezuela at home (with a healthy Neymar) and losing at Uruguay (injury game). Brazil isn't that good anymore. Vinicious Jr but who else? No where near Argentina. Argentina loaded without Messi even. Will Neymar make the Copa? About 9 months away and his injury an 8 monther if lucky.

Correct. I never understood the hype around him. Just not a winner and took the easy way out at PSG and League 1 and already in Saudi Arabia. He is a mercenary. There is a reason why he never played in the EPL. He is made of popsicle sticks balsa wood and duct tape….and that is his brain not to mention his body.
