Can't wait for the latest head scratchers the Eagles throw at us tonight.

I like the draft, in that I like to keep up as the night goes on and see who is going where. Not sure how anyone actually just sits there and watches it.

To each his own, tho.

I'm with you on that.

and the Sixers get another chance to close out the series with the Raptors tonight, so I will likely be watching that...until I can't stands it no more.

I'll probably watch the braves blow another one

Phils are on a little win streak, which is nice.

I am playing catch up in my fantasy baseball team since the other guy has Bueller and he threw a gem on Monday night. Musgrove helped me out last night though.

I can actually watch tonight since on MLBN. Well unless they have 2 games and I’m stuck with other one

Ready for another Lions disappointment ?

I was very happy w Sewell last year. If they go EDGE at 2 (Thibodeaux, Hutch or Walker) I’ll be very happy again. I’m also very high on Willis and Sauce Gardner.

With 2 picks tonight, it’s going to be a lot of fun.

I could have been an NFL scout. I get into this stuff big time. Love everything about the process…love analyzing stats, trends, team needs and matching them to incoming players. It makes watching college ball extra exciting, tracking players for years and then watching them go pro. I wish I had more time to devote to it like I used to.

I get that stuff. But the draft itself is pretty boring imo. Especially the first two rounds. Is the first round still 15 minutes a pick?

I think the funniest part is when the first pick takes the entire clock to make its pick. Even tho they obviously know exactly who they are picking. That's clearly a call from Goodell to drag it out for ratings.

Ya, 15 min, but it goes by really fast. By the time you’re done absorbing the pick, watching highlights, learning about how and where the guy fits into his new team/scheme, take a quick hit off the bowl, read some shit online, field a few texts, the next pick is up.

Rounds 1-2 are the best. After that I start doing shit around the house in between Lions picks, keeping tabs on everything.

i think it's also partly to give teams more time when wheeling and dealing higher value picks. let the players drafted high get their shine that came out to Vegas (which is also a nice little extra test for them to pass for teams, could only imagine one of the stupid fucks winding on a police report in the early morning hours tomorrow).

Who let the Phillies almost get to .500?!?!?

Oh i get why they do it. Like you mentioned, its to actually give them time for trades. But most importantly, its entertainment. They want to drag it out and make it a huge ordeal.

I just personally find it boring. I would be more inclined to stay tuned in the entire time if the picks were 3-5 minutes a piece and they kept it moving. And finished the first round within 2ish hours.
