lets say iowa beats Michigan
FSU beats Louisville in OT
Bama and Georgia play to 7 OT's and UGA loses by 3
oregon beats washington by 7

and Nebraska gets a top rated QB in the portal.

Nebraska will have won its 7th straight off season natty on a platter

Go Big Red

Like Casey Thompson top rated....?

If Bama and Georgia play to 7 overtimes, can one team actually lose by three? I thought teams attempt only two point conversions after the third overtime.

After a touchdown they can only attempt 2 points conversions.

One team could still kick a field goal and the other fail to score

Nevermind. Forgot they changed that back in 21. You're right. They couldn't lose by 3

Didn't you just explain how that would happen?

No I explained how it used to be able to happen. I forgot in 2021 after 3 overtimes they no longer even attempt touchdowns anymore it's just a two point conversion duel.

So, @Collegefbfan is correct to say after three OTs, a team could only win or lose by 2

Technically possible to win or lose by 4.
