Worst Ice storm in OKC history, for 3 days straight, Monday Tuesday Wednesday, Oct 26 27 28.
Every tree in OKC is fucked up, and every power line was down.
2 days after that, yep, that's right, 75 degree days all the way thru today.
It's like being Jeremiah Johnson or some shit.
Finally got power back on 30 minutes ago.
I'm thrilled.
I know nobody noticed, but I had to post it.

Are ice storms in late Oct normal for OK? I’m not saying this level....but just any ice storm normal this early?

Glad you finally got the power out. I’ve gone 10 days before. It’s a thrashing no matter the climate.
Sucks, man. We were down for almost a week after one of the tropical storms. Middle of the summer, no AC. I have a generator, so I could keep the freezer and fridge running to save the food, but it's not big enough to run the central air (electrical panel isn't wired for it, either). So, maybe two weeks after coming home from the hospital with our newborn son, we were living at my parents' house. Fun times.I mean WTF.
