Our 1st Olympics in 12 years. I’m always excited to see the younger squads in an International competition. I’m not going to pretend to be knowledgeable enough to critique the roster. There’s a kid from Omaha though and he was pretty fun to watch in HS and at Creighton.

I see Morocco fans already stormed the field. Once again bad security in France. If I remember not many years back Liverpool fans robbed and assaulted trying to get into stadium in France for UCL final.

Is Guinea in the USA group? If the USA can’t beat a group of Guinea pigs, who can they beat these days. Definitely can’t beat France that is for sure. Routed !

Should make the knockout stages now with just Guinea left although France only beat them 1-0.
 
I’m just going to drop this comment in here because both results shocked me. And I’m sure they shocked the fuck out of the French. Canadian women beat French women in soccer and rugby on French soil. Outstanding results and looked good on the French.
 
Guinea got whacked. USA in quarterfinals.
 
Canada women get deducted 6 points for cheating, and win all 3 games and still qualify for knockouts lol. Well played lol.
