So this week I was on a plane and was flying at night. I looked out the window and saw no stars above me. I Googled this and it says it is because of the artificial light within the cabin. What? I can have all my lights on in my house, 30,000 ft below where I was on the plane and look out my kitchen window and see stars. Oh and the artificial light within the plane's cabin was basically only the lights from the seatbelt sign and no smoking sign. Otherwise it was completely dark.
Just weird that you are 30,000 ft closer and have no surrounding lights and can't see any stars.
