Packers fire the special teams coach

A blocked FG and a blocked punt gave the Niners 10 points.
 
Doubt it had as much to do with coaching as it did with the players he had available to coach. ST's are usually your young talent. GB lacks that.

The Packers usually ignore special teams which is probably why that unit has sucked for the past 10 years.

If more than one Packer receiver had caught multiple passes. Or the Packers had scored a TD after the first quarter. Or Rodgers had thrown a touchdown, this ST coach would still have a job.

The Packers special teams init was ranked last in the league so I doubt that coach would still have the job.
 
Reminds me of when the Colts would lose 20-3 to the Patriots in a playoff game and the defense would be blamed but no one would say a damn thing about how Peyton Manning and the offense failed to score one touchdown the entire game.

The 49ers special teams put up as many points as Aaron Rodgers offense did.
