They want so much for Wentz.....and they aren't the only game in town for an overpriced QB.

Well, other teams can pry Darnold away for the Jets for a 1st, maybe just a 2nd rounder.....

Raiders are getting calls on Carr and Mariota.

The Vikings are getting calls on Cousins.....

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It's not like anyone is winning the lottery with any of those names.

It’s just the thought I had over the weekend. Whether this was just not conducting to business over the weekend, or the league asking to hold off until after the SB, this offered a chance for everyone to pause and reflect. Or for Ryan Pace to read all the press on what a moron he is.

It was a pause that hurts the Eagles chances to get the most for Wentz. Oh well.

Yeah.....lots of other options out there.

And Philly wants a 1st for Wentz when the Rams had to trade an extra 1st just to unload Goff.....

The Eagles may end up settling for a 2nd or 3rd since they aren't going to trade any picks to unload him.....LOL.

If Philly wants to get rid of him, they are going to pay someone to take him. I'm not sure anyone has the cap room to take him on as a backup either. Now there is chatter that Russell Wilson is on the trade block, making it a harder sell for SEA.

Seattle has stated they aren't interested in trading him when they got calls and RW hasn't requested a trade, just wants help on the OL.

RW is saying all the right things, as he should. SEA has done a lot to get an OL in front of him, not sure how much more he wants.

You either get what you need to get rid of him or you keep him. Let the new coach fix him or put him on the bench behind Hurts. Hurts is on a cheap deal so between the 2, they don't break the bank at QB.

Not doing anything isn't an option for Philly. They are already almost $50M over the salary cap, so they have to get rid of Wentz before March 20 (third day of the league year). Trading him before that date saves them $800k, trading him after it costs them $9M more on their cap due to 2022 guarantees.

fuzzy money... they'll just move other money around.

The cap matters as much as RBs...

I'm good with that. Kick money down the road instead of having one painful year. the rest of the NFCE agrees with this.

Maybe a new coach can fix him.

Maybe, or more likely maybe benching got through to him that he needs to be receptive to coaching. not sure which it is, but I've said from day 1 that his arm motion is jacked up. But it has never changed.

His arm motion is low on the list of problems with his play the last 2 years.

I'd LOVE it if his arm motion was the thing to worry about.

Failing to read defenses, staring at the rush, relationship with team are all WAY ahead of arm motion.

I can’t see it at this point. You have to move on from him now. And they need to take whatever offer they can before that league year date passes.

I’m getting concerned he is on roster and they try to roll it all back and fix him. He doesn’t want to be there, they need to move on.
