Resting starters for week 17 so they can lose to Cleveland and face Baltimore in the wild card round. Yeah, great strategy. They better hope Miami lose to Buffalo.

Yeah, they aren’t facing Pittsburgh unless Miami wins.

Fitzmagic is out for the game, they ain’t winning in Buffalo.

Shit, they’re backup QB is out!?!

You really believe Tua is winning in Buffalo Sunday?

Nvm you love him, of course you do.
I love both of them. Anyone who loves football should tbh.

Is Buffalo even gonna care if they win? I’d be resting guys, they play at home in the playoffs either way.

That is a fair question. If Buffalo loses and Pittsburgh wins Pittsburgh gets the 2 seed. That’s an extra home playoff game. I know Pittsburgh his resting everybody but ya never know. I’d think Allen will play but I could be wrong.

do we know if Pitt plays before Buffalo? Or at same time?

So Buffalo wont be resting players.
That coupled with Fitz on the covid list. To me means no heroics from him. Doubt the Dolphins win now.
Only thing is the bills haven’t said anything yet. I can’t imagine they’d rest people but if they see the Steelers doing it they may just. I don’t see Pittsburgh winning in Cleveland.

There are so many scenarios, Baltimore might not even make it in, let alone project who they'll play if so...
It's a 50-50 chance when a team rests players a week for playoffs, they come out flat....It's a real roll of the dice...But a Ravens- Steelers game is always popcorn time for me....Best rivalry in football regardless of record, slobber knocker.....:what:

I’m for a Pittsburgh/Baltimore game in 2 weeks not next weekend. Sure helps business in central Pa.

Poor Mason Rudolph just can't beat Baker weather its college or pros.

Well, Pittsburgh is lucky the Bills won.

The Steelers aren't even catching heck like the Eagles for throwing the game.

They didn't throw the game. They only rested like 4 or 5 starters, had all their weapons on offense and Minkah. Plus, Rudolph has been in the system for awhile...while the Browns haven't been able to practice in 2 weeks. Makes a huge difference. If the Browns don't get to practice this week again it will most likely be a blowout.

The Steelers rested most of their best players. I'm sure the Dolphins would disagree with you. Had Ben, Watt and Pouncey played, the Steelers probably would have won. The Eagles did what was best for their team.

And it wouldn't have changed their seeding at all, not buying they lost on purpose.

The Steelers couldn't afford possibly losing their key players for the playoffs..look what happened to the Browns, DPJ got hurt and now Vernon is out for the rest of the year.

Purposely losing a game will never be what's best for a team.
The Eagles may get the best WR in the draft. That is better for their team than getting the 2nd best WR in the draft. They also screwed their biggest rival. Kudos to the Eagles.
