I used to not like them until I got a truck with satellite radio. Opened my ears to Stones songs that you don’t hear on the terrestrial radio classic rock stations. Been a big fan since. You can thank Mojo Nixon and SiriusXM Outlaw Country

To me, they were kind of like the Grateful Dead, when they were on they were really on. When they were off, damn they were American Idol Sanjaya level of off. In all fairness, the fact that they could function at all given their lifestyle is amazing.

To me, too hard to pick just 3.

Anything with Bobby Keys soloing is holy. Brown Sugar, Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Live With Me, Sweet Virginia. I coulda been Bobby K. I played tenor. Had similar hair and liked the herb.

OF course I couldn't play a lick with out sheet music in front of me and he free formed every solo he ever did.

These threads are too much. Brutal.

Stones rule. So many iconic songs, and damn near just as man underrated songs. So many good albums. Beggar's Banquet blows my mind. You get Sympathy for the Devil and Street Fighting Man, which are two of the greatest songs of all time, but then it is loaded with underrated shit that are hit songs for ANY OTHER BAND.
