I'm creating this thread to clean up the other threads in an attempt to limit the stupidity that seems to be spreading. Just like COVID I think we might be able to contain it through quarantine. Please keep the following thoughts and comments in this thread only:

- That the Big 12 plays defense
- Pretending that the Big 12 offense is innovative and not run by every high school in America
- Thinking that Texas is going to make the playoffs or any other Big 12 team for that matter
- That the SEC needs to learn anything from the Big 12
- That the Big 12 has superior coaches to any other P5 conference
- That the state of Texas has the best recruiting
- That your revenue share is the best way to go (seriously stop)
- Pretending that anyone cares about watching anyone besides Texas and Oklahoma
- Trying to sell us on the fact that the 12:00 games are not a scrub timeslot

I could go on but you get the drift.

LOL that same high school offense killed y'all last season... same thing LSU was running. Amazing what happens when there's actual QBs that can pass in "a line of scrimmage league".

‘member when bucktoothed yokel stepchild Big12 also-ran Aggy went to the sec and was the runaway #1 offense in their conference the first two years running? I do.

I remember when that same offense teabagged the best team in the Big 12. Do you? Best thing that happened to Jexas was not having to play an experienced Manziel.

ou being tea bagged in bowls is nothing new.. JFF would have experienced the same number of losses in the no defense Big 12 too. But please tell me how Mizzu would have also tea bagged the Big 12 since they won the East division... twice? All with little Big 12 players..

Why are you inventing an argument I didn't make? SECEast is weak, like the big12-ish.

I'm not making an argument.. Just pointing out how bad the Big 12 is.. the best schools left and voila a heisman was won in CS, Mizzu won 2 division titles to a "soft SEC EAST?"... Just saying, respect High school offenses.. I mean they are so good they made the landshark defense quit..when they faced TCU

2013, Missouri was legit. South Carolina was probably the better team, but they fucked around with other opponents.

2014, UGA beat them 34-0 in Columbia, but Richt never could be Florida or Spurrier

Mizzu was different, but they never capitalized on the recruiting trail.. They have done much worse since they joined the SEC. The last decent team they had was with Locke.. who caught fire late in conference play, think they had the #1 offense in the SEC with a 6 game or something like that winning streak.. then fizzled against a struggling Texas team.. Why? because they already played schools who ran it better than Locke and Mizzu in the season.
I'm actually kind of shocked by Mizzu, they have a nice recruiting area of St Louis, but those kids end up going anywhere but Columbia. Even them selling SEC football hasn't helped them much. It's just strange.
What's also puzzling is Smart.. he had one of his best defensive teams get absolutely lit up like never before vs ou in the CFP semifinal game. You would think he would have jumped on board with a new OC after seeing that. Guess him seeing Bama change and LSU finally made him commit to something else.
Kirby can recruit/drop bags with the very best of them.. man is just too stubborn

Texas is back

To be fair, we shut OU down in the second half. 10 offensive points in what included 2 OTs.

But Kirby did change OCs last year, but the guy was just terrible. The in house hire at DC has been great, but I’m excited to see what the offense can do when they get some time under Monken

Pfft...you'll see how weak the East is on Oct 10th.

The West is back to being Bama and a bunch of other mediocrity.

edit: Hey Ford! Nice to see you without that gay mod hat on!

This thread is working better than I thought and hopefully the retard is getting expunged.

Keep going guys until your retard tanks are empty.

High School offenses is just one of the dumbest things people say. It’s like they didn’t notice Kingsbury goin got the NFL and Riley being the top NFL candidate from college. The other dumb ass saying is “pro set offense”, that is one of the least used sets in the NFL. 11 personnel is far and away the most used set in the NFL today. Concepts from the Air Raid are the biggest influence in the NFL currently

Good job of using the thread correctly.

Get it out and don't hold back....I mean referencing the Kingsbury hire....really?

It all comes down to coaches. Mizzou was good in both the Big12 and SEC with Gary Pinkel. Meanwhile, the SEC powers of UT, Georgia, and Florida were struggling those years. Georgia was the only team with a pulse in the East. These teams have upgraded their coaching talent while Punkel retired. Missouri would have had this trajectory no matter what league they were in.
