I’ve got a shit ton of pasta in our cedar closet. TP that I bought and the wife says it’s not soft enough. Oatmeal and I think some Raman. A few can goods.
Never bought MREs those things seem awful

Anyone prep the hell out of it? Or currently prepping/getting ready for the climate lockdown? Yellowstone super eruption?

Guns and ammunition.

Wait, that's impossible.

So nothing.

Man FEB 2020 I saw price increases coming. Bought a few hundred 9mm bullets and 12 gauge shells. Didn’t see the crazy shortage coming tho or I would have bought a shit ton.

prices are slowly coming down tho. I watch it all the time ammoseek.com

I didn't "prep", but we do have a ton of pasta. It stemmed from a variety of factors, though. I had a decent amount in my pantry because a stand at festival was giving away free boxes and at some point Kroger had some on sale for like $0.50/box. I moved in with my gf, so all of our stuff combined. We don't eat a ton of pasta (it keeps, though, so I'll load up).

We also have a lot of soap because we both had big tubs of it to refill dispensers.

I've had this a lot longer than a year.
9mm I bought for $8 for 50
5.56x45 I bought for $250 a thousand.
5.45x39 I bought for $130 per 1080

I actually sold some last year to some needy people at quite a large profit but still have more than I'll live to shoot.

We didn’t really keep any. We’ve been in the mode of picking up grocery orders before the pandemic so we just rolled with whatever was out at the time. Haven’t seen too much shortages of grocery staples in a long time.

TP was never an issue as the Mrs was a nut about having solid back stock of TP before COVID was a thing.

What I do wish is that I stocked up on a lot of wood before the price took off last year. I’ve been avoiding any projects and letting the work space in the garage languish as I just can’t see anything important enough to pay what wood currently costs.

I've got to be more aware of TP supply now. The gf mows through it. Before, if I had a sleeve of rolls, I'd be good for forever.

I'm pretty sure the broad eats it. That and tooth paste.

Oh and to answer the OP, candles. I don't know where the fuck they keep coming from.

I've slowly let the oversupply of TP dwindle, but do have a few packs in an emergency tote in the garage along with some other non-perishable items.

Didn't really have to stock up anything else since Amazon fresh would get regular supplies to my house every week. Didn't go crazy with wipes or soap.

scented?

Weed eater cord I guess? I bought a new weed eater that made the 3 spools of cord I had for my old one obsolete for me at least

Haha... Our winter supply is slowly dwindling. We accumulated so many over the holidays (either gifts or sales).

I had bought a few cans of fruit that I never used, and I started buying powdered milk to use for baking instead of regular milk to save the regular milk for cereal and my daughter's daily milk, but other than that, I didn't change much about my buying habits during the peak of the idiot season, other than to make sure I bought things like Lysol and TP if I happened to be in the store when they were unloading a truck.

Don’t I know it. The Mrs will train you, but having three daughters on top of that (not to mention a special needs son who doesn’t know how to use a little) and you learn to be prepared on the TP front.

yea, place smells like a mixture of dog, sage, pumpkin, spring, and ocean breeze
You need to get some whiskey or leather scented ones to man it to a bit

wife bought one the other day that smells like Margaritas... I was thinking... why don't we just make Margaritas if you want that smell.

She gets some every once in while that smell like "man". If I wanted extra man smell, I'd just bang some dudes at the gym
