You made me go look at the roster.
13 pitchers. first series 3 games and if winner next series 5 games. I wouldn't think they'd need 13 pitchers for either of those, right now though they are scheduled for 5 games in 4 days this week.
7, yes SEVEN infielders. 2 of those infielders also play outfield though.
4 outfielders and another outfielder getting ready to come off DL.
It will be interesting to see what comes of this. But I see no way Pujols gets left off the playoff roster.

42 games left at a rate of 1 hr in every 5,might be kinda tough to do.....but from what I heard,hes been on hot streak as of latley........
Personally I dont think he will do it.......But always has seem to be a great guy in life,so I will be cheerig for him.......
And as far as being left off the roster,nah,hes done so much for the Cardinals organization over the years,theres no way they do that to him.......

I used to root for the Cubs when the Cards would be out of it.
Then they finally won a championship and got all uppity and shit.

I used to hate the Cubs about as much as I hate the Dodgers. Don’t know what happened, I’m more or less indifferent to them now. I really liked David Ross as a Brave. That might be why
It'll be a cold day in hell before I root for the Cubs or Cards, but I have always hated the Yankees the most. The Dodgers also passed them in hate about a decade ago and last year the Padres also passed them for trying to be the Dodgers and Yankees.
If I've got anything nice to say about the Cubs and Cards, it's that I respect the way they build their rosters - mostly through good scouting, drafting & developing and opportunistic & shrewd trades & free agency. ...They don't just $pend their way to the playoffs.
Oh, and the Cards' new stadium is nice. The old one was crap. Wrigley is still crap.

I hate the Phillies more than anyone right now. They avoid Scherzer and deGrom and the Mets next top two pitchers were hurt, and they somehow managed to lose 3 of 4 against the Mets. Braves take 2 of 3 from the Astros and lose a half game in the standings

Ive always hated the Cards and Pujols my entire life,but theres one thing about tue Cards now,Pujols is no more of a menace to the Cubs,and hes actually one good dude......Never see any on field or off field problems with him.......
All uppity.....lol.....never knew a Cub fan being uppity since that WSC......
Just because Miller Park is called Wrigley Field North,is no reason to hate on the Cubs......
And actually,I would love to see the Brew Crew take home a WS Trophy.....
