I was 100% the hires to begin with but I tried to give em a chance. Ziegler had a bright spot or two but mostly bad and McDaniels was awful

Finally get a competent defense and McDaniels tanks the offense

Yes, I know the stats don't look great for the D but when your offense can't move the ball at all that is what is going to happen
 
This happened immediately after the trade deadline. Methinks Davis wanted to make a big splash at the deadline and trade for a big-name player and both Ziegler and McDaniels either refused or failed to do it.
 
McDaniels just needed more time.




















So that the franchise could never recover.

It's the smart decision. Kid had a great preseason. Might as well see what you got with him. Maybe got a diamond in the rough
