I'll start:

For seven straight seasons in the late 80s-early 90s, the Super Bowl had either the San Francisco 49ers or the Buffalo Bills in it. Yet, despite the fact that one was an NFC team and the other was an AFC team, the Super Bowl never had both of them at the same time.

I remember how CERTAIN people were during the 1990 season that it would be 49ers-Bills. Only for the Giants to go into Candlestick and shut them down.

Didn’t hurt the quality of that SB in the end.

Tom Brady is 6-1 in the SB when playing a team with an animal name ( Falcons, Panthers etc) and 0-2 against the others.

Before Tom Brady, there was only one other quarterback that started a Super Bowl for a team in the AFC and NFC.

Yeah yeah. Pretty cocky for a fan of a team that hasn’t won one in a quarter century.

Meanwhile none of the good NFC East teams have won one since the bad NFC East team has.
