RIP Bill Walton

Walton seemed like a guy that tried to enjoy life no matter where he was. His career was sadly cut short because of the injuries. Wether you agreed with his take or not, he always seemed sincere

He had pronated ankles, which are sort of bent inward. Easy to see how he could get injured.

As someone who has always struggled with chronic foot and ankle pain I have a lot of respect for how he played in spite of this condition. He also had a horrible stutter but worked with a speech therapist to overcome it

Damn. Really enjoyed him calling Uw basketball. Crazy, random dude who seemed to live life the right way.

Damn shame. Nobody enjoyed life more than Bill Walton. Condolences to his loved ones.

RIP, big fella

Also just realized, Bill Walton and the Conference of Champions died in the same year. Fitting in a way

Even more fitting, it was the day after the PAC-12 baseball conference championship game which was the last official PAC-12 sporting event.

I blame Larry Scott for the deaths of the PAC-12 and Bill Walton.
