So many gene hackman movies I like. Westerns, policeman, detective, govt spy movies, War movies, drama's, mafia shit ... the guy did it all. Hard to name one I like the most.

My favorite is probably Enemey of the State.

Awww, that’s a throwaway Will Smif vehicle! Hackman’s just mailing it in since the thing was designed like every other Will Smif-against-the-world flic. Just off the top of my head, these are better:

The Unforgiven
Royal Tanenbaums
The Quick and the Dead
The Birdcage
Mississippi Burning

You don’t even have particularly like The French Connection and Hoosiers.

Those are great movies, but you got enemy of the state wrong. That movie sucks if not for Gene Hackman's role. He nailed it.
