Yarrow was a singer and songwriter who found fame as a member of the 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary. I always enjoyed the music of Peter, Paul, and Mary from the early days in the 60s.

In a note of irony, Yarrow was pardoned in 1981 of a sex crime with a 14-year old girl in 1970 by the late President Jimmy Carter who died a few days ago. It was amazing how little if any press carried the story at the time it occurred and of the pardon itself. Politics may have been a factor since Yarrow's wife was the daughter of Sen. Eugene McCarthy. Yarrow served just 3 months of a 1-3 year sentence. Fame does it every time.

Yeah, Yarrow committed the crime in Washington DC, and I forget sometimes that the president can pardon anyone there for any crime.

At first, I wondered if it was a case of him being 18 or 19 when he was with the 14yo, but he was 31. Fucking gross.
