I went to elementary school out of district so no one was able to go home for lunch hour (I guess they don't do that so much nowadays anyway) and they would jam us in the gym and put on a shitty episode of "Degrassi Junior High" after we had finished eating if it was raining. One time I saw the pregnant character wearing a Pogues T-shirt and thought to myself "I wonder who that band is whose 13 year old fans put out?". I probably would have found them anyway
