Few thoughts on this team thus far.
Finally nice to see some tackling in the second half against UGA...I wanted to bench Dylan early after he continued to be misplaced and not finish tackles, but finally he showed (some) life.
I love the fact that Mac can go out there, make a dumb play, and then completely ignore it. I'm still not sure how 'great' he is, as he has a lot of great receivers that make up for his short passes on the deep routes, and I think Smith would make a lot of QBs look better with how he runs routes and always come back to get the ball. However, he is doing a great job and after watching college football thus far, I'm just happy to have a QB that can throw a long ball in which gives the receiver a fighting chance. I know Bennet had at least 2 long balls that were wayyyyy too long, so I'm happy that isn't us.
Metchie is a stud.
Najee is a workhorse that has so much patience that it is quite impressive to watch.
