Russia threatens to leave ISS and leave the American astronaut up there

Nonsense. They can get a Crew Dragon up there before he were to run out of any critical supplies. Even more possible if the on board crew goes down to one.
 
We were bound to have a body floating around up there eventually.

That was my thinking... It will make for a hell of a movie...

NASA has to give rebirth to the STS to go save one of your own...




or elon musk will save the day.

Yeah. No rebirth to that system would ever be coming. They can’t even get SLS going.

Talked to my family member today who is with NASA. He mentioned the onboard crew is not the issue. The issue is we don’t have a system we control on board now that can boost the stations orbit as needs to be done periodically.

Now….I’ve seen Elon headlines lately where he says “don’t worry about that”. But….I’ve not seen plans. I’m not sure if an unmanned Crew Dragon can go up and connect and boost it, or if it’s more complicated than that.
