We learned today a sec team gets in no matter what. “They were playing for nothing”narrative would come out immediately after the gm. to get bama in they had to bring Texas with em. It says a lot

No they wouldn't. They would have made up some different sort of excuse why Georgia didn't have to drop out.

Instead of keeping Florida State out though, they would have kept Texas out

Texas would have gotten bumped by Georgia.
 
What we have learned here is that it's not about a "body of work" during the season. It's not about winning it on the field either if a team with a better record gets passed over for a team with more losses.

It is a beauty contest at the end of the day and nothing more.

Texas was the most deserving 1 loss team but he’s right. They were out if uga won yesterday too. The sec was getting in at all costs
