If both those hypothetical teams are vying for the #4 spot in the CFP, which should and would get in?

I think Oregon would have a slightly better resume(ranked wins), so I'd go with them. But Texas will have played, overall, a better schedule.

Texas doesn't have as much juice left on their schedule for late game wins to impact it. Oregon would get a lot more credit for those wins IMO. Whether they deserve it or not.
