damn... u would think tosu would have had another championship within the past 5 seasons with numbers like that, no?

EDIT* Or a playoff win?

As crazy as it sounds they probably have underachieved relative to their talent. Although their 2016 team was probably their worst team in the last 5 years, so it wasn't surprising the way they got beat by Clemson in the CFP.

Kind of crazy that outside of the top 3, there has only been 1 playoff appearance from the rest.

There’s more, just too far down the list to make the cut. Oklahoma has like 47 playoff appearances

2015: Don't lose to Sparty at Home
2016: Great Defense, Offense had zero chance vs Clemson's 2016 D Line
2017: Iowa just scored on them again
2018: Purdue just scored on them again
2019: Having to kick FG instead of scoring TD get's you beat vs Clemson (again)

The most important thing though in those 5 years
2015: Welcome home jimmy
2016: The spot was good
2017: JT get's hurt, Haskins enters The Game… thanks for participating TTUN
2018: Should have finished off The Game with another td to score 69
2019: TTUN can only make The Game interesting for 1 or 2 quarters before Ohio State crushes them.

You've got what? One win in the playoffs? And zip for National Championships? OU's done shit. Georgia's done what? Semi-shit?

How in the world did you take that as a shot at Oklahoma?

If I read it wrong, then I do apologize. But it seems you're always taking cheap shots at OU and I just assumed this was another one. Georgia and Oklahoma are so similar it's eerie. Great preseason rankings every year, lots of potential, talent out the wazoo and then poof! Something always goes wrong for both of us. I spend a fair amount of time in Atlanta so I know a lot of Georgia fans. Good people. And they know the sport of college football well unlike some fans on the West Coast who can only spout "we fast!" when you want to discuss things like formations, schemes, etc.

No problem. I misread the comment I was quoting. I thought he was saying that there were only one playoff appearance from all schools outside the top 3, not just on the list.

I do take a lot of shots at Oklahoma, and likely do so in the future, but this wasn’t one of them

Or so should Texas and USC for not even making the list.
Think it's been well established how bad Texas has been, so this isn't a surprise.. Especially with all the press of the zero 1st or 2nd rd draft picks every April hitting 247 and rivals articles. They should make the list in 5 seasons......hopefully
