Auburn great Charles Barkley expressed disappointment in injured Tigers quarterback Bo Nix's comments about officials favoring Alabama football.

So people are calling out SEC Officials once again for favoring Alabama against Arkansas. Bo Nix commented on it and now Charles Barkeley responded to Bo Nix leading up to Iron Bowl.

Still seems like this is a problem (I think it has been around for a long time but people are just calling attention to it).

Something hilarious from my perspective is that officiating at Tennessee games seems to have gotten more fair/favorable ever since the golf ball/mustard incident :pound:
 
Auburn fans need to shut the fuck up about SEC officiating until they are forced to punt on third down because their refs stole a down from the other team.
 
I've seen Auburn get calls and and blind eyes turned to their on field rule breaking for years.

I don't wanna hear it.

I sometimes watch the nature Channel just to see an actual zebra get eaten by a lion. Actually pretty therapeutic, would highly recommend.

Yep. Or they could have to endure those clusterfucks the Big 12 refs performed a couple of weeks ago in the OU/Baylor and Texas Tech/ISU games. A little Tide favoritism is minor league.

I think the point is that Alabama gets away with holding every play and the pick plays used to be awful but that seems to have gotten cleaned up.

As for Auburn the trend this year has definitely seen the tide turned. Not complaining because we had our run but the scale has been weighted against us now.
 
SEC refs are the worse.... RPO offenses seem to benefit a lot from O-Linemen down field on a run... No wait it's a pass!!!
 
They need to stop having conference refs.. at least for the P5 conferences.. should be just one umbrella, where they actually get held accountable.

Too much money being made for some of the same refs who keep officiating bad. I get a few mistakes, but there are refs in the Big12 who make bad calls regularly.. And the only defense is "Play better, refs don't cost you games"

Wish I could use that same excuse at work if I kept fucking up..

You realize every conference thinks their refs are the worst? It’s just easier to criticize the refs with 18 cameras (unless it’s Fox then it’s 3 cameras from the 1940’s and they are all outside the stadium) and instant replay and they have half a second to make a decision with shit going on everywhere. Even if they did away with conference refs, the bitching would still continue.

they should just let the cameras officiate then
