And the sad thing is, it should have been 7-2. No excuse for the LSU choke and for Alabama to lose.

Despite the SEC win, I still think Big12 is a better league. Nobody from SEC except maybe Tennessee on a good night could beat Baylor or Texas.

Tennessee is the best SEC team when on but they are Jekyll and hide.

Alabama will win regular season and is a great team but they haven't performed well OOC (see yesterday or loss to Western Kentucky). If you even look at Alabama's league wins, they caught teams when they weren't on.

Florida is the most dangerous team right now. They are getting better each week and maybe the best SEC team by March.

Missouri is the opposite of Alabama, wins outside of the league constantly but has head scratching losses in the SEC. They performance against TCU was embarrassing but they somehow pulled it out.

Arkansas and LSU are teams that will make NCAA tournaments but be gone after 1st weekend.

Mississippi State is a tough team but won't make tournaments.

Auburn has too many losses to make the tournament unless they hit a major win streak. Baylor was a bad draw for them. They could have beaten most of the Big12 slate.

UK has thrown ifs season in the garbage. They really needed to play yesterday. If they could have somehow win, they would have saved their season. Not playing was as bad as a loss. This team would have to get autobid to make tournaments and I don't think they are good enough. They are relegated to spoiler role (and they will upset someone).

The only thing I know is Bama should have beat OU with OU having two starters out.

OU was a 1.5 point favorite so no Bama should not have won. Tcu choked big time up 15 with 4 minutes to play. And then we didn't even get to see Texas destroy Kentucky.

We have been getting killed on the offensive glass by other teams. Also teams have decided to not help off our 3pt shooters and let us get to the basket...BECAUSE WE CANT FUCKING FINISH AT THE RIM!!! We are pretty good defensively and offensively but we are in a bit of a slump on offense.

I also think OU having 2 starters out rallied their team and made them play harder. It was obvious they wanted it more than we did yesterday. And kicked our ass in every phase

It shows you the difference between the power conferences isn't as large as some want to make it out to be. Big 12 is still a very good league, there's just a lot of parity in college hoops

Teams also have hot and cold nights. Just because Team A beats team B doesn't always mean Team A > Team B

One thing that is crazy about the SEC this year is that Kentucky is holding the conference down from an RPI perspective due to their terrible November/December performance.

Don’t tell me...y’all didn’t want to be there...right?

It's never as big as it appears. Any given year, any team from the middle of one of the 6 conferences can beat any given team from the middle of the other.

But everything in college sports is a metric.

So the teams that win OOC in the beginning of the season get bragging rights.

Alabama has a very mediocre resume outside of SEC play
We have the most Q1/Q2 wins in America.

Providence and Furman are solid wins. Would help if Providence would quit losing at the last second to everyone

If our 3s are falling I think we can hang with anyone. When they aren’t and we are forced to drive to the basket...we can’t make layups and can lose to anyone

Providence is a sub .500 team.

Furman? Come on man

Agree 100%

Solid overall resume though. 10 Q1/Q2 wins..... most in the country
they have a good resume but most of the damage was done in conference. It doesn’t seem like you are disputing the point I made
