Im not the one who changed the rules on eligibility. By the rule you proposed that is stating position restrictions mean players can not move around and can not play other positions.
Now I know you can’t possibly believe Derrick Thomas could not play or be eligible ROLB or LOLB that would be absurd. I have to disagree players shift all the time.

Okay, I have to try again dammit! Ya know how when we do a baseball draft we only draft 4 relief pitchers right? That's just a rule of the draft. I think we all know teams carry more than 4 relief pitchers, it's just a rule man, I don't believe teams only carry 4 relievers, it's just a rule!
Ya know how when we do an NBA draft and we draft 10 players and 5 play the first half and 5 play the second half, I don't believe that's how NBA teams do it, I promise I don't. It's just a rule man!

Possibly one of the worst analogies I’v seen in quite a while. Is Jordan only eligible to play the left side of the court? Is a relief pitcher eligible to play 1B? Different sports which is a big part of why the 64 GO/GS doesn’t work for football. A relief pitcher is a specialist more comparable to QB. Football players shift. In no world can we say Derrick a Thomas could not play ROLB or LOLB. A DE is a DE a 3-4 OLB is a 3-4 OLB etc…..
