Happy 2025, fuckos.

Had my sister and BIL over for New Year's Eve, then yesterday was basically just sitting around the house watching football in my PJ's. Got rid of some stuff, have a few other bags and boxes that are going to Vietnam Vets on Monday. Will be good to get it all out of the house.

the cold snap is hitting MD this weekend...wish the rain hadn't kept me from moving leaves around yesterday, the weather was pretty perfect.
 
I have officially decided that being at work sucks way more than having 10 days off with nothing to do most days.

Excellent, my yard has been a muddy mess that my dog keeps digging holes in and tracking mud throughout the house. And maybe we'll actually get some ice this year so I can go ice fishing.
 
still pretty quiet in the office today...and tomorrow won't be any different.

I am trying to get alignment to move my 3:30 meeting to 2:30...and then maybe schedule a haircut appt for after that

Same, although my puppy is a little more contained when we bring him in so he doesn't muddy-up our carpets.

When our dogs get muddy we can bring them in through the attached garage into our mudroom with linoleum floors that is attached directly to a bathroom with a shower. We spray the mud off the dogs in the shower, dry them up a bit then send them on their way. When we bought the house, we didn't realize how useful that particular house layout detail would be.

Our back sliding door enters right into our kitchen off our deck. It's been a muddy mess and because the ground is soft, he's been digging holes everywhere looking for the mole that moved in this fall lol.
 
I have today & tomorrow off as next week starts the 2025 cycle for PTO and I had use the hours or lose them. 2025 seems like it's going to be a long year. Makes sense as 2024 went pretty well.

2025 is a day shorter than 2024. I also already booked the Friday after Christmas off, so I have a 5-day weekend to look forward to at the end of December.

Our back sliding door enters into our den - which is partially carpeted. We usually use it for dog traffic out and in; but when it's muddy, having that alternate route in is really handy.

Our puppy keeps digging at the edge of the short tree stump remaining from the dead ash we chopped down a couple months ago. Not sure why he's targeting that spot, but I know I'm going to need to do some extra lawn repair there in the spring because he's already got about a 2'x2' destruction zone that will probably only increase by the time Spring rolls around.

Thanks for the reminder. Was planning on doing that today and it slipped my mind.

Not meaning literally but figuratively. Seems to be the trend if things go well the year prior that year following it is one of having to fight & claw on certain aspects. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

I think Jiddy is still at the last site. I haven't played GLB since our one team folded and Sully absconded with the team finances.
 
Client unexpectedly rescheduled our weekly Wednesday meeting to today. Listen here asshole. Its a short week and I'm trying to do as little work as possible. Piss off til next week
