Hooplaborg, whose signature is this? It was signed by a Hispanic-looking man who is supposedly ~65yo at the Broken Spoke in Austin.
The man was accompanied by his nephew who insisted that the man was of such renown that he should be recognized if given enough focus.
We’ve eliminated Bruce Matthews #74, Bob Lilly #74, and Rafael Palmeiro (who lives in Texas now).
I’ve checked the baseball, football, golf, soccer, rock n roll balls of fame.
I think I checked the tejano hall, but I’ll have to check again.
Any ideas?

A dude that went to Texas was enshrined in the CFBHOF in 1974.

His name was Malcolm Kunter. Lol

He’s dead.

Only HOFer that was on the 74 team is Earl Campbell.

MLB class of 74 was The Mick and Whitey Ford, both dead.

Only member of the golf HOF class of 74 that aren’t dead are Jack and Gary Player.

You have not helped at all.

A 65 year old would have been 17 or 18 when elected to the HOF in 74.
can’t be too many people who were still teens when they entered the HOF.

Yup. She’s either wrong about the age or the signer didn’t follow convention

I showed her the below picture of Keith Hernandez. She says that it looked like him. Grayish hair and mustache.
keith started playing in ‘74 and should be in the HOF. But his signature is way diff.

It would be odd if some nephew thought his uncle would be recognized from his bowling fame.
Also, Mexicans don’t bowl. Lol.
