While I hate to hear people losing their jobs, I can't wish enough bad things for Sinclair Broadcast Group. I hope the entire thing goes Chapter 7 and the executives at the top all get an incurable form of crabs.

Citing the coronavirus pandemic, the Sinclair Broadcast Group said on Wednesday that it will reduce its workforce by approximately 5%, amounting to hundreds of layoffs across the company.

If you aren't sure if you care about Sinclair broadcast or not, well you do if you have noticed that you no longer have a Fox Sports regional channel on your TV provider of choice. They jacked up all the prices and requirements for cable providers and streaming services to carry their channel. The sooner they lose their shirt and need to come back to the bargaining table, or better yet divest Fox Sports all together.

True. Didn't think anyone who has been without Fox Sports since last fall (or earlier in some cases) would know who Bally Sports channels were.

I thought they would cut a deal before the Stars and Mavs seasons, but nope. Doesn't look good for Rangers either.

Yeah, I think only directTV has FSSW anymore. I dropped them a decade ago and won't go back to DirecTV.
 
You mean they are the reason there is no longer FSN? and now my former FSN channel is Versus?

Fox Sports Net was my second favorite channel to watch college football behind ABC.

And the theme song was awesome.

I know. They play all the Mavericks games.
 
I bet their vaccination percentage just went up.
