Stumbled on this by accident on my flight, listed under the 90 minute movies. First, it isn't 90 minutes but 112 minutes so I had to rent it when I got home to watch the end.
It didn't get solid reviews, but I'd give it a solid 8-8.5 out of 10. It's damn near a 9. One of the better movies I've just stumbled across in a LONG time.
It's set in the 90's and you need to disconnect from reality because the main characters are supposedly 14 year olds about to start high school. If you can stop thinking things like "how the hell does a 14 year old know/do that?" then its a fun watch. The writing for it is pretty amazing, but don't watch if you can't stand a lot of cussing. Some of it is formulaic and the big plot twist I called just seconds before it happened, but overall it was a really good movie.
