There are a few streams in NW Illinois that have some trout. Western Wisconsin is packed with trout streams and the easy shoreline with Lake Michigan has awesome fishing during the "runs".

Fuggin been lovely the last week too.
It's hard this time of the year for those us in the north. Yesterday it was clear and the high got into the low 70's. Today...high in the 40's and cold wet rain.
It's 34 right now.
A colder front trying to move in about 20 miles away, with some snow in it.
