Yeah, Action park was one of the more famous. OBviously never been, but I've heard about it (I mean there was a doucmentary about it, but i didn't watch).

I know the park was responsible for a couple of deaths


The other slide was from Kansas, the plan was so insane even Texas said the park couldn't build it there, but along came Kansas......sadly it decapitated a 12 year old and was shut down after that

One of my friends grew up in the town and worked at the park. He said that they'd take bets on which people would need help.

The park is still there, but most of the really dangerous stuff is gone. There's still the cliff jump and it looks like the one body slide that launched you put like 15 feet above the pool is still there, but it seems like they ditched the rope swing over the pool because they had to rescue too many people.

And the Great American Concussion Machine! Batman and Robin might have been there too, but it was probably not running because it was always broken.

Medusa is still there. They re-branded it as Bizarro at some point, and then switched back to the Western theme. So there's a ride with an Old West theme that loops around this futuristic hunk of metal.

I know, dumb. Was just taking a quick hit. I usually smoke before I leave or once I’m in the gym parking lot.

For some reason I just decided to take a hit on the way (it’s only a ten min drive) and almost got myself in trouble.
