Someone explain the NY Yankees

The Yankees need to be doing better then they are currently doing just based on there total team salary. I know injuries do hurt a team. But that’s the problem with the Yankees they never have replacements coming up in the minors. Like many other teams do.

When things are as bad as they are for the Yankees sometimes everybody has to go. I heard today on the Michael Kay show that there are people out there that want them to rip this team apart and rebuild. Maybe that’s what they are going to need. Cuz Stanton has such a big contract that I don’t see any suitors that would take on that contract. So there screwed either way

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that he's been a problem. Just that his numbers have fallen off from 2019-20. A 104 OPS+ from a capable defensive 3rd baseman is still a solid player.
 
I dont see them making the playoffs, not with how hot the AL East is.
 
Are the Yankees sellers at the trade deadline? My goodness these guys lost at home to the Angels who lost their starting pitcher in the 2nd inning due to stomach issues. Angels had to go to their bullpen way early and the Yankees still couldn't win.

This team is bad, yet the continuously are -145 to -190 favorites in just about every game they play.
