States You Have Visited

may have been to a few more, but this is what the brain recalled. some were probably work related, so it'd amount to what shitty town i was in with an army base and an applebees outside the gate, but some are at least close enough to drive to some tourist trap in the off hours. haven't been to a lot of places, but my takeaway is everywhere is pretty much the same.

I've also never slept in Idaho or Delaware. Idaho was beautiful, the ten miles of it I saw between Montana and Washington anyway.

And Delaware had great bargains on smokes. Which was honestly why I went there. Plus to get a break from Philly.

I had a cousin visit us from Seattle where he basically just drove I-90 all the way to PA. I'm jealous, those big sky states are the ones I've been wanting to go to at some point.

I've driven I-90 from Seattle to Yakima, but no further.

Heh...I can't remember the comedian's name, but he had this whole bit about his brother who was a hunter, had camouflage everything, including his wallet, and wore the bright orange vest. When he asked about the vest, the brother delivered the color-blind line

Only been there the one time. And in all fairness, it was the centerpiece of an ill planned road trip. Started off poorly on account of us renting a Dodge Neon from a used car lot. And continued on just as poorly.

Am glad that I got to visit Betsy Ross' house while I was there. Can honestly say that.
 
Road my thumb all over the lower 48 back in the 70s. Missed Idaho. Funny thing is that's where I was heading when I left Wisconsin.

Alaska and Hawaii also on the miss list.

We took two laners thru tUP and Wisconsin until Minnesota. Then I94 until it ends in I think Billings, then I90 to the coast.

Next time, Im taking US2 the whole way.

Also saving Yellowstone and Glacier for their own trips.

Montana and Wyoming both blew me away in the limited time I've had to explore em.
