HC is canned. Long live the new HC.
Speciation on new HC.

Chadwell - YES!!

Hugh Freeze - also Yes.

Petersen - he won't come this far east but at least interview the guy so we can say we tried.

Monken - IDK, maybe perennial 6-7 wins?

Mullen - I don't like him but 7-8 wins annually.

Bill O'Brian - meh.

Deion - sounds like a gimmick, but he can't do worse than what we have. Seriously. Maybe for recruitment alone and leave most of it to OC and DC. I don't take this one as a serious contender at the moment.

George Godsey - former Tech QB with the Ravens. But is he ready for HC?

We'd be lucky to get Deion. That being said, I don't know what's in it for him.

Godsey would be nice. He at least is very familiar with GT.

Beyond that...*shrugs*

I'd say go after Dave Clawson, but I'm not sure GT is a more attractive job than Wake at this point

JSU pays him 300K. GT could pay him 10 times that

Deion is the "roll the dice" candidate.

Or rather...

Deion is like a Box of Chocolates.
You never know what you're gonna get.

The fact that he even took the job tells you it's not really about the money for him. JSU is more of a special project he's doing out of love. He donated half of his salary towards stadium renovation! I think to get him we'd need both ~$5 mil/year AND some sort of motivation to be specifically at GT. What separates GT from any other coaching position? What would make it "interesting' for him?

Everyone says it’s not about the money until someone offers you a huge raise.

So far has any P5 team offered Deion? The offer might be enough to differentiate GT. It’s possible he holds out but he’s familiar with Atlanta and the south
