Those schools you mentioned making it is a bit of good fortune and luck. They made it in their first shot. Usually you need many shots.

But other schools go through the same thing. UVA and Gonzaga and even Nova in recent times had the label of underacheiving, and they finally broke through.

It's all how many bites at the apple

Yeah but we have NEVER really broken through. I think that is the problem. On top of that, our teams don't play very well in March Madness. Every time I watch them, we lose the same way, we are just not making easy shots we made all season long while the other team jacks up 3s from nearly every where and they are going in.
