Let's hope and pray we get to see this matchup. I'm not sure I'd be more excited than Ohio State/Michigan but close! When is the last time a team beat Bama twice in one season?

Next man up. We don’t lay down and die after a couple injuries like Bryce Young and AlabamaNolan Smith out for the season due to a torn pec.
Two things:
I was a believer in OU early in 2000. I already thought they were the best team in the country before they beat Nebraksa to move to #01. Plus, I had the pleasure of going to the Orange Bowl that year with my Seminole brother and my Sooner nephew. lol. I sat in the middle. I was officialy neutral, but I was pulling for the Sooners in my Big 8 heart!
Previously, in 1998: When Tennessee beat Florida, my wife said that night: "Tennessee is going to win the National Championship". That was in September, and I looked at her sideways about that comment. Fast forward to the Fiesta Bowl...I was at that game too with my Seminole brother. I was wearing an FSU shirt that night, but I was secretly pulling for the Vols, because I was sick of all of the FSU is so great crap.
So, add those two years together, and I can defintiely see the Vols winning the National Championship, but I think TCU is going to give them a helluva fight in SoFo Stadium on January 9th!
It’s very possible. Tennessee looks pretty good. It’ll be fun to watch that game next week

Georgia's gonna kill 'em.
That ought to jinx UGA![]()
I don't think it's ever happened. I could only find a few instances where they played a team twice, and they either swept (1999 Florida) or split (2011 LSU, 2021 UGA).
That ain’t true. LSU beat em in 2010 and the regular season game in 2011They only team, under Saban, that they have lost two straight games against was Ole Miss and it was over two different seasons (not a single season).
yes, but in the three strikes you're out game we didnt let them cross the 50 yd line. We took home all the marbles after that game. That ain’t true. LSU beat em in 2010 and the regular season game in 2011
