Bookie:
$ 10,500.00

With Jimbo Fisher now under contract through the 2031 season, Texas A&M’s leadership is in place for the next decade. But that stability didn’t come without a hefty price.

The school announced the terms of Fisher’s new contract on Wednesday. The head coach’s contract that was already in place was extended by 4 years. His annual salary will be $9 million beginning Jan. 1, 2022, then will be increased to $9.15 million on Jan. 1, 2023.

10 more years at 9mm+ and he hasn’t won anything.

Insane

I'm not sure I understand it.
Doesn't A&M have him pinned down for like the next 6 years anyway??

Like I said in the other thread and always say: Fourth in the division… as usual.

Maybe they are paying him for his natty at Florida State. Besides, Aggies have a lot of money.

Besides, I've told you guys a thousand times...it is a Texas thing. Jerry Jones changed the way we look at college and pro football in this state. It isn't about winning football games in this new found modern era. Now success is measured by the amount of revenue generated. That's the important thing. If winning comes with making a lot of money, that's just a bonus. If not, money is still rolling in.

so will they redo this whenever he makes a CFP appearance? And if so..how much would it go up to.?? 12?? Sexton the GOD

Lot of money for a guy who hasn’t even won his division.

at the end of the day..it's not any of our money.. and if they want Jimbo to feel their love by extending him to give him more money so be it.

As a UT guy, I can only hope this takes away from their bag game lol #HookEm

Which is a better finish, in a harder conference, than Texas gets.

10 years of more than $9 Million/year for a coach that hasn't yet won anything at aTm.

I love it when the clown car gets hijacked by the trapeze artists and driven into the lion's cage.

Guy is the best coach A&M's ever had and maybe ever WILL have, has em in contention in the best conference in CFB and A&M prints money so... why not :noidea:

Good move iyam

Weird. Many have him as a Top 10 or even Top 5 coach.
