Wasn't sure where old Gary Patterson had landed after he and TCU had agreed to part ways.

Special assistant to Steve and heir apparent when Sark fails. And would be their best HC hire in quite a while.

On the surface it was a smart move for both. Texas defense has sucked, defense at least at one time was Patterson’s wheelhouse and the Texas AD worked with him for years at TCU.
We’ll see how it works out but Sark has the offensive mind and Patterson has defense so.. I see what they tryna do.
It’ll be nice to see him at Texas where they can afford some britches for him that fit.

Let's hold off sucking Pattersons cock until they face an offense with a pulse. Next week will be a much better test.

If Patterson eventually replaced Sark.....he'd just have to bring in an OC.

Pete Kwiatkowski is the Texas DC.

Lol. I forgot about Sark at Texas. Talk about failing upward.

As a head coach he took Washington from the depths to a perennial 7 win team. Which was respectable, but he had plenty of time to get over the mediocre hump, and this is the highlight of his head coaching career. (And Petersen’s turbulent first year cleaning house showed just what kind of shitshow he was running here).

Bails for USC who was still desperately reaching for capturing the Carroll era magic, seeming like they’d try any and all of his former staff. Burns out hard and fast because of personal issues.

Rehabs as a coordinator in the NFL then at Alabama. Does fine. Clearly a solid O coordinator.

Then lands the Texas job?

Like… what?

Anything with leaving Washington is an automatic win...

Yes… you can’t think Sark without thinking “winner”

Maybe this will finally be year he tops his personal best—9 wins.
maybe you can top his win total from last season, this year too?

What Munson is to bowling, that’s what sark is to football.
