It clear as day that coaches spend way too much time watching film and not enough time watching actually ftball. In theory hsving 8 guys in coverage sounds great. Watch ftball 1 wkend and you will see how bad it a defense it is

The thing they don't seem to do is get their guys under the throws. They put guys deep and the underneath guys usually get too deep making the throws too easy. Add to that you're putting no pressure on the QB, so they just pick you apart, because they have an easy time finding the lanes when the underneath coverage gets too deep. Coaches think it's great, personally, I think it's an awful strategy

It’s the worst defense in ftball. A 4 man rush/prevent d is better. Give a qb a clean pocket and receivers time to get open and they eventually will

I agree, every time I see it I think to myself that the coach F'ed up and a 1st down is coming.

Even if you only rush 3 maybe have 1 guy spy the QB.
