I had these two teams 1 and 2 in my rankings for the pre spots.

I had UK as the better overall team, but this is about matchups and I think Nos matches up very well. Both great Olines against very solid DLines. Edge to UK's linebackers and DB's.

Edge to Nos passing game and Run game.

Think Payton is the x-factor in this matchup.

Going to lean Nos here.

By a razor thin margin. This may be the closest matchup of all the games. It's gonna sound weird, but if Nos had a Suhey type FB I probably lean his way, but I see Okoye as a runner and not a lead blocker, which I feel would have been better in this particular matchup.

You know it's razor thin when you have to nitpick a FB choice to decide who the winner should be.
 
I had Nos ranked ahead of UK for this era. Feel like Nos has the advantage at qb and the skill positions. Slight edge to UK on D.
